forsythI just watched it. It was good. I liked the music and the ambiance and the weird robots that looked like things put together out of a toy scrapheap.
Though, really, if you're going to build the tallest tower in the world, tall enough to break the clouds, don't put a self-destruct button in it. You're already tempting Narrative, that just makes it even worse.
And the Japanese seem a lot more willing to let named characters die than Americans are. There's probably something cultural that I don't know enough to answer.
