Well, the first step in getting people to do something is for them to know about it. So, instead of just bitching about stupidity like the Republicans trying to destroy Social Security here, I'm going to write a letter to the editor and send it to the local papers. Yeah, it's not much, but it's a start, and especially in a conservative, rural area like this, it might even make a difference. I'll post it here for feedback at some point probably, but first, to write.
