Having worked at one, I can tell you this. Starbucks is not a coffee shop. it is a sugary steamed milk junk food shop.

Would the extra pump or so get it to the oh, inch or so of straight from the carton chai that I got? If so I'll have to try that. Although, I don't think I've tried another starbucks for chais, just Cosi, and that was disappointing.

Also wish it didn't take so long to explain to the starbucks people out here, or at least at the mall store. the concept of a hot mint mocha

What size do you get? The small gets 3 pumps, the medium 4 and the large 5. Iced larges get 6. And do you get it hot or cold? Six pumps is getting close to an inch or so, I think.

Without the water, it's just the concentrate and milk.

You can also buy boxed concentrate from Starbucks and grocery stores for like $1 more than you can get a chai made at Starbucks. Then you can mix it however you want.
