Bush Vetoes Bill Banning Torture
Man, I'm glad we have brave strong men like George Bush bravely standing up for our country's right to almost drown and beat the shit out of helpless prisoners. I feel safer already!
Last week, George W. Bush endorsed John McCain , with these words: ""John showed incredible courage, strength of character and perseverance in order to get to this moment and that's exactly what we need in a president — somebody who can handle the tough decisions, somebody who won't flinch in the face of danger," Bush said, appearing with McCain in the Rose Garden."
I sure hope John McCain shows the same unflinching dedication to making sure America can beat the shit out of helpless prisoners, just like he's helped Bush do so in the Senate!
