Tim Curry is awesome

Y'know, every time I look at the cast and writing lists for old cartoons, I get surprised by some of the big names who were involved. Even if they weren't all big then. Like today I found out Tim Curry did voices for Darkwing Duck. And according to wikipedia, he did voices for half a dozen other awesome cartoons too. No wonder I can recognize his voice so easily and think he's so awesome.

Which is why I liked Glen Beaudin (Malcolm Frink) in Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad. I mean, he had one of the more thankless jobs in show-biz. He acted to a computer monitor, in a dark closet, with the voice of Tim Curry (Kilokhan) which probably was added later.

Yeah, I love some voice actors. I'm pretty good at figuring out who's who and from what anime series. Anime voice actors often stick with the same dubbing studios so you can often hear the same voice actor. Like the person who played Inu Yasha also played Bit Cloud from Zoids, amongst other things.

But yes, Tim Curry is awesome.

He's probably one of my favorite character actors, both animated and live.
