Nanowrimo Update
Nov. 27th, 2004 12:40 am"Then the Lollipop ripped back into realspace, with the grace and elegance of an eighteen wheeler driving off the thirty meter board at the Olympics and splashing into the pool with a trailer full of overripe bananas."
That's a line from the most recent section I wrote. I thought it was either a) a very good analogy, b) a very screwed up analogy, c) both, or d) Richard Nixon. I'm at 42876, which is about 500 short of the quota total for today, but almost 900 words more than I'd been planning on writing. And since it's only 12:40, I may write some more tonight. This story's definitely not going to be done in 50K words, though, especially since I already skipped over one whole scene because I wasn't sure how to do it. But it seems to be getting easier, which is good, now if only I could write something that might sell. Maybe after Nano, I'll actually get around to statting out and writing up Philor and sending that in to Pyramid, I think that's the kind of thing they'd like.
