Money is technically worthless. Its only value comes from what you do with it.

Therefore just using it to get more money nets you zero actual value until you do something with it.

Which, of course, makes you want to question the value of anything that can be bought with money. Having worked in finance, and watching Chapter 13-ens, and bankrupt companies continue to function...you dont really need money to accrue once you reach a certain level. But...the fed had been complaining that it costs 1.78 cents to create a copper penny. How worthless is that?
