Traffic

It just took me 45 minutes to drive half a mile. And for no reason I could see, no construction, no accident, nothing, just like a bunch of people and the people in front of them decided to just stop in the road for no reason. I could blame traffic lights, except I sat without moving through one and a half cycles of the traffic light in question.

I guess people just didn't want to drive?

It's basically fallout from an earlier incident. A crash (or whatever) can screw up traffic for hours after it's been towed away.
