Blogs can be Good, but...

A lot of the time, reading blogs (and their comments) about things besides day to day life is kinda depressing. Because it's like listening to the guy in the bar telling you exactly what's wrong with the world. Especially when it's stuff they obviously don't know anything about.
And I can include myself in that list of guys talking about stuff they don't know about, though I usually try to limit myself to stuff I do know about.

Well, I've set the goal for myself to write at least one post every month with content meant for discussion rather than debate. Since I myself seem to live, eat, and breath games, I have found that to be a good topic. Others have been doing movie reviews that encompass more than just "It Sucks" or "R0xx0r", looking to speak about the many parts that can make up a film.
But I'm rambling.
I'm not sure if this entry was meant to invoke discussion on why people post what they post, but in any forum of discussion opinions will be stated that may have full credibility or none at all. I'm guessing the only way to affect change to that trend is to change oneself, which is never as easy as it sounds. I second your sentiment, Forsyth, and I'm sure there are others out there that do also.
