Before he knew it, it was four in the morning. Not for any good reason, either. The minutes just slipped by in ones and twos, never enough to notice. They hadn't been notable minutes, they'd just happened. It used to be, if he was up this late, he was working on something important or exciting things were going on all the time. Now, it was just inertia. He could have gone to bed dozens of times, but never made the effort.

Man. He'd wasted another evening just watching heroes get offed by traps. No progress on the Grand Scheme either.
