forsythLong ago, the World got annoyed, decided to stop existing and go pout.
As you might imagine, most everything found this inconvenient, but the World was pouting and none knew where to find it. And the logical paradox of trying to figure out where exactly they were if the World wasn't around broke their brains. So, most everybody ended up just sitting around in Nothing.
That got old quick
Now if Ferret had one fault, it was a lack of patience. Without the World around to explore, Ferret got bored. So Ferret went wandering through a whole lot of Nothing.
