Okay. So what exactly IS a hipster anyway? Wikipedia's definition is so vague as to be useless. Which, I guess, is the point of labels like that, since you can apply them to almost anyone then.

Actually, the definition of hipster there might as well say "an extroverted geek." Or something.

I dunno, a "geek" is either someone whose intelligence or ugliness or both mitigates against social success, whereas a "hipster" is someone who downplays his own intelligence and/or ugliness in the hopes of social success, and values social success over all things.
