A very short tale
Oct. 17th, 2005 01:35 amThere once was a king. He wasn't a bad king, as kings go. He was an unelected aristocrat with delusions of godhood, but he was not dangerously inbred and insane.
This king, like most, had a treasure room, in which he locked those things too valuable to leave out on end tables where the servants might steal them.
But did it bring the king happiness?
Well, yes. He used them to buy pretty things, and generally lived it up. It's good to be the king. Wealth unlocks many things. Such is life.
