Fanboy Wish Fulfillment

There's times I wish life were more like a webcomic. One of the stereotypical Keenspace ones, where people have Wacky Adventures. Life needs more Wacky Adventures.

Besides, if life were like that, most of my friends wouldn't live on the other end of the country or on completely different continents. And if they were, well, we'd all end up there thanks to aliens or a transporter accident or after tunneling through the Earth.

Which is probably the reason so many people make that kind of comic. It's much more interesting than life and there's nothing wrong with fanboy wish fulfillment.

(I wonder if I'm violating the spirit of the drabble idea by making ones that are just me babbling, and not actual stories.)

My mother is living that webcomic. Her love life alone is a comic. It ain't all fun and skittles, but enough of it is. She loves it.
