Subject: Contractual Obligation
Okay, look. We both know the studio doesn't give a crap about this book any more. We've got two more issues then it's getting canceled. We already wrapped up all the storylines worth wrapping up. So, fuck 'em. Tell you what. You draw 22 pages of whatever you feel like. I'll make up some dialogue. I don't care what you draw, doesn't even have to be the characters. We'll say it's a Secret Crisis of Infinite Challenge of the Superfriends.
Still have that collection of crank letters for the last issue?
(I swear something like this is probably responsible for half the insanity in comics.)
