forsythThe crowd started shuffling around me. "Move aside, nothing to see here, move along."
Only one person talked like that. "What about the body?" somebody called from deep in the crowd, "Don't see that every day!"
"Shut it Boffo," Nomos said, then paused when he saw me, "You don't belong here," he said.
"You're getting slow, Nomos. What'll people start saying about the Rule of Law when Law's never where he's needed?"
He glared at me and looked down at the body. "This isn't any of your business. We leave it to her successor to sort out. That's the Law."
(I may go with a different title, this is just temporary cause I don't have a better one yet.)
