forsythAt work, there's many bookshelves, of course. Sorted mostly by topic, rather than some arcane method. Well, mostly it's sorted by topic, and then you have somebody lead you there. Because that's what they pay us for. Well, not me, I'm stuck back in Music.
Anyway, so back near the music section, there's a little "box" of shelves, with two gaps for people to get into. On the side that faces back, toward me, there's two shelves, and a gap. On the left hand of the gap is "woman's studies" and feminist stuff. On the other side of the path is "Christian Inspiration". Which has C.S. Lewis and lots of vaguely religious self-help books, but also a lot of books by neanderthal nutjobs like Falwell, Robertson, the Left Behind guys, etc. I wonder if it's coincidence, or somebody set it up that way on purpose.
And right around the corner from the feminist stuff is the gay and lesbian section.
