Audio Equipment
Anybody have good suggestions on CD rippers/audio encoders? Able to make .mp3s and .oggs a must. Being able to convert one to the other would be totally sweet. Heck, even just a program to convert oggs to mp3s would be nice, almost all mine are oggs, but some things are picky about playing mp3s. Like CD players.
And I plan to write up an actual post on the wedding, I'm just debating if (and how many) pictures to put along with it. And not just because I look like a total prat in a suit. Especially with my ponytail, I look like some kind of lawyer trying desperately to be hip or something.
On a related note, does anybody know if there's a term for the mental disorder that makes people utterly unconvinced they're attractive, even when being told so by people of the appropriate sex? There should be, since nearly all women seem to suffer from it, but.

Simple MP3
You can encode from cd and wave to a number of formats, including MP3, and Vorbis (.ogg). It is not completely intuitive, in order to switch what you are encoding to, you need to go in to options/settings/MP3encoder/ and switch to the type of file you want to encode to, and the bit rate you would like.
I do not see any way to encode from mp3 to ogg and back though. Another nice thing, you can record internet streams with this too.
Another plus? The download for this program is really small ; ) Hope it is useful : )

A workaround would be to save the OGGs as WAVs with Winamp's Disk Writer Plugin and convert the WAVs to MP3 with LAME.
As for the last question, it's called a narcissistic disorder. Which seems weird, as Narciss was so utterly in love with himself, but it seems psychiatrists decided to name a disorder that makes people not love themselves after him too. I should know it, as I've been diagnosed with this shit. *shrugs*
