Politics, yay!

forsythSo, I guess my little writing thing I thought was nifty wasn't so much. That's okay, I expected as much. Anyway.
I've been reading political blogs again. I've been reading them for a long while, actually, starting in about, oh, 2000. With a few breaks. Anyway, it's kinda amusing, if frustrating, to see some of the obvious trolls on the (mostly liberal) blogs I read. I mean seriously, WTF? the "antiwar left hates America"? First of all, do they ahve ANY idea how long it's been since there's been a unified "Left" in the US? Hell, the Democrats aren't a liberal party! They're centrists with rightward drifts in a lot of cases, especially on the national level. The only reason they seem "liberal" is the Republican party leadership has become nucking futs. Seriously. The Republican party these days is the radical reactionary party. The "religious right" is one of their major factions. These are the same people who ran around all the 80s, and today STILL saying D&D is satanic and gamers commit suicide and kill people over games. Hell, I've been a gamer for years, and this kind of crap is honestly one of the biggest reasons my political affiliation is Not Republican. Well, besides the fact I'm one of those looney liberals, which I'm sure everybody knows anyway.
