In retrospect, Command and Conquer: Red Alert isn't a very good game. no build queues, the infantry are useless (and also like six pixels), and the mind-numbing hunting of the last enemy infantry squirreled away wherever to win... Bah. I remember Red Alert 2 being a lot better, and I forget where my copy is. Maybe somebody borrowed it.

I was bored. I wanted to rampage with tanks and stuff. And the actual gameplay was fairly mind-numbing. Wow. Maybe my expectations are just higher now. But I wasn't much of a C&C junkie before, either. Give me Starcraft any day.
