Experiments in sleep!
Apr. 8th, 2005 11:31 amI've confirmed for myself something that scientists have been saying for a good while. It's not the amount of sleep that matters so much as the kind. If my REM sleep gets interrupted, I sleep in later when I do get to sleep, and feel more tired, even if I sleep more.
How have I found this out? Because of the animals that keep coming in and interrupting my sleep every hour or less in the mornings, wanting to either get up on the bed, get down from the bed, or go outside to bark at squirrels for no good reason.
