History books don't tell the whole stories. Speeches, sound bites, and video clips don't define a person as what they were. The first thing to remember, about anyone, is that they're human. Even, and especially our enemies, because that's where it's the hardest.
So no, the history books don't tell the whole story about Martin Luther King Jr, but they tell a story. And it's an important one. The ideals in the speeches and letters live on.
So, are we going to live up to them?
