Favorite Numbers

In some way, I can't help but be amused at the fact that people have favorite numbers. It's just a number, it's not like color, which has actual effects o decorating and stuff. So why do people have favorite numbers, including me? I suppose there's as many reasons as there are people, they just like how the letter looks, something about that number stuck with them as a child, how it works in math, something religious or spiritual, I dunno.

And for the curious, my favorite number is five. I think it's because it was easy to do on multiplication tables as a kid, how it always comes out on 5 or 0 at the end. And I like 2 and 3, for reasons I don't know, though the whole package ties in nicely with Discordian stuff, but that's an after thing, not a before. So, is it just evidence of people having the desire and ability to form emotional attachments to almost anything, even inanimate objects and concepts, or what, I wonder?

Four. Four is my favorite number. I have no good reason for it, but over the years four has insinuated itself into my mind as a lucky and/or auspicious number.
