Quota wise, I'm slightly ahead of the game as of right now. Go me. I've done like 3000 words today, and I'm going to keep going at least until I finish this chapter. The story keeps growing, it takes four times as long for people to get somewhere as I expect, because things keep happening and they keep having conversations. A lot of it could probably be cut out, but why, at this point? But with the scene I skipped, plus the fact that they've just reached the point that should get them on the way to the climax of the story, eventually, there's no way it'll be done in 3500 words. Will I keep doing this after Nano? Probably, just to get it DONE done and so I can get it out of my head and into the ether of interacting electrons and inflict it upon unsuspecting netizens, 'cause I really don't think it'll be a story that anybody'd buy, but maybe with a lot of work, I dunno. So, I go to write more. Because with class and work tomorrow, I won't have time then. And then Tuesday's the end, and I have to make sure I'm over 50K to make sure it actually counts when I use Nano's verifier. Back to work I go.
