Random Music Post

Okay. I've listened to the rather generic electronica and techno of most of the remixes on OCRemix too many times now. I'm sick of electronic music for a while. Give me something bright and cheery and bold and unafraid, with electric guitars and drums and the goodness of rock and roll. Something like the New Pornographers (which I already have). Anybody have any recommendations?

(Also, The Laws Have Changed is totally in my top ten favoritest songs ever now. I blame JustinPie.)

Electric Six, dude. Tongue-in-cheek disco-metal garage rock. "Danger! High Voltage", "Gay Bar", "Rock & Roll Evacuation", "Naked Pictures (Of Your Mother)", "Dance Epidemic", "Synthesizer", "Jimmy Carter", "Dance Commander", "(Be My) Dark Angel". Good stuff.

I'm also partial to Wolf Parade, which is sorta like Talking Heads meets David Bowie. "Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts" is my favorite song of theirs.
