Forsyth Soundtrack & Nanowrimo update
First off, wordcount.
Slow, but at least I got some done. More tomorrow. Conversations take up a lot of words, at least when I write them. That could just be my flaw though.
I tend to listen to music when I'm writing. Well, honestly, whenever I'm at the computer. But. Lately, I've been moving more toward music without lyrics, because that works easier as background and the words don't occupy my language processing cycles and distract me while I'm writing. However, since I've been working on a Fors story for Nano, I've usually had music on that gives me ideas or the right feel for that. My actual playlist is a couple hundred songs, mainly because I haven't culled it down, I just added stuff by bands that have at least a few songs that fit, or just are randomly good. This is the list of eleven songs I most associate with Fors though, or fit him the best. I might have left off one or two, but. If I had to rank whole bands for it, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones would probably be the best fit, then Flogging Molly. Which seems kinda weird, since a bunch of Flogging Molly's stuff is all Catholic, and Fors, well, isn't. But. The songs aren't in rank order, just "I wrote them down in this order" order. I might do commentary for the individual songs later, but not right now, since bed calls.
And of course if anybody wants to offer music suggestions, feel free.
