The paranoia of the listless
"Modern society is constructed to alienate people and make us forget what it means to be human!"
The meeting had been going so well, too. Then Mark had to go and open his mouth. "So why don't you like, go out and interact with people? Instead of sitting around on beanbag chairs in the dorm?"
"That's what they WANT you to do," said "Moonglow", "They're devious."
"The sheeple fear us, so they shun us. Look what they did to Perforated Sheep Bladders."
Mark sighed. "Dude, that band sucked. Sucky bands aren't a conspiracy."
Needless to say, he wasn't invited back.
(Now I want to write something titled about a conspiracy of utterly crap bands.)
