Worldchanging: The Book

I don't think I mentioned this yet, which is slacky of me. The awesome website/blog World Changing has a book out, and it's an awesomely pretty book. I haven't read it thoroughly yet, but considering how nifty the blog is, I imagine the book's much the same. It's full of the kind of future that'd actually be nice to live in.

A Bit I Haven't Gotten To Yet

Angels love like adolescents. Totally, completely, like it's the biggest thing in the world. No matter how ancient the angel, in love they are all besotted teenagers. When they sing of their love, it's in the flowery phrases of a medieval bard, whose love is the very light of the world, or the soaring extravagance of opera or the most bombastic rock and roll. And they mean every word of it. No matter how often it happens, no matter how often they're hurt, every angel is always convinced they're The One. Some angels try to avoid this by being aloof and distant and avoiding love, others throw themselves straight into another right after each one ends, and still others pine forever after the one they lost when it ends. Even the ones who've been around mortals the most, and have to hide pieces of themselves away to survive, love like this. And they would tell the one they love everything if they asked, even if their love is mortal. Luckily for them, most mortals never think to ask.

Band Names

I coulda sworn I had a file around here with dozens of awesome band names in it, but I can't find it. Therefore, suggest your most awesome band names in the comments, I get the feeling I'm gonna need plenty.

Nanowrimo: Part 1

I'm not sure if this is quite the right tone, and it seems to start kinda slower than I want. Well, if this turns into anything useful I can always go back and fix it.
