The weather today reminded me of the weather in California.

Which was good and bad, some of both. I'm not sure what that means, if anything.

A new Letter to the Editor...

About that bankruptcy bill I've been nattering on about. It's behind the cut. Tried to make it something that wouldn't just seem like ranting about Republicans, so it might get through to people around here.

Comments and suggestions would be more than welcome. I'm going to mail this off tomorrow.

Writing commentary

Hell, it's hard to write something for normal paper these days, I keep wanting to put in links to articles, sources, and so on to back up my facts.

It's a conundrum.

Well, there we go.

I actually finished the letter about the bankruptcy bill, signed, sealed, now to drop them off tomorrow.

Yeah, it's not anything huge, and it's probably not going to have any effect, but it's actually doing something. Publicly, not just writing nastygrams to congresscritters who won't even notice, or giving money to something. It's a start, step one to fight back fear of actually DOING anything, y'know?

I think this calls for making a new politics LJ icon. Probably involving the Statue of Liberty.

Either that or goofing off with Magic.

Damnit.

I made a new icon, deleted the old political one, and it just switched them all to default. So I'll have to go change them all manually if I want them fixed. Bah.
