A thought

A bit of a platitude I guess, really, that I thought up earlier today, and haven't really thought about yet fully.

Perfection is a process, not a destination.

It's either deep, trite, or who knows. Discuss amongst yourselves.

Today's good news

I'm really utterly unqualified to say anything about them, but they are the first step toward what could be a very good thing. The Iraqis who braved death threats to vote and the soldiers who defended them both acted heroically. And I'll leave any other thoughts on the broader situation until later, when we see what happens.
