Randomness

Okay, a few events at work lately have helped confirm what I've figured for a while, as part of the whole Discordian thing. Heirachies and bosses suck for communication and getting things done. It starts small, with the boss not listening to people, so people don't tell them things they don't want to hear, so they get more insulated from reality, and people just tell them what they think the boss wants to hear, and do end runs around them, and so the people up the chain of command become less and less in touch with what's actually going on, and it just gets worse. And I'm ashamed to admit I'm even kinda helping in it, in the "do what needs to be done, then tell the boss afterward, if at all" sense. Mainly because he doesn't seem to listen, and wants done things his way, which is his perogative, except sometimes what he wants done sucks. So.

And in other notes, I really wish I had some people around to go to a con with, going by yourself sucks. And if I go to some con, I'll need to get a set of mad scientist goggles, and my trench coat, and some other appropriate accessories, or some other kind of costume. 'Cause, frankly, what's the point in not going dressed as a ninja or mad scientist or space pirate or something?

Yay, I wrote something!

I wrote something! Yay! It's a rough draft, and I really don't know where, if anywhere, it's going, it's just sorta a random scene, but I wrote something, so yay. it's behind the cut here so I don't spam up everybody's friends page. The first 500 words or so are basically random rambling, they could pobably be tossed, and it really needs revising, if I'm gonna do anything with it, which I kinda doubt.
