It's 2AM.

In a way, I'm in awe of these people and their ability to utterly ignore that pesky reality thing.

And, yes, I'm back, but you all knew that already.

A portion of a poem I'm working on...


Laughter hides the pain, the rage,
Would that I could take a flaming sword
and smite the assholes and evildoers
who take my values, my country, my world,
and treat it like their private toy.

But I have no flaming sword,
nor am I suited to righetous rage,
so I take my weapons,
jokes, barbed and brittle,
pies and a mask of thin white paint.

And then, laughing fit to scream,
I set out to break the lies churned
by the ones who've been pissing on my dreams.


Yeah, it still needs a lot of work, but I dunno, I like the potential in it.
