forsythI stopped in the doorway. "Hello, Doc," I said.
He looked up. "Oh, it's you. Well, come in, then. I suppose you're here about Justice."
I walked over to the table. Justice's body was laid out on it, covered with a sheet. "What can you tell me?"
"She's dead."
"So I'd gathered."
"I'm a doctor, damnit, not a forensic pathologist." Doc peered at me from over his glasses. "I take it Nomos doesn't know you're here."
"I haven't told him yet."
He waved a hand "She was stabbed once, through the heart. Sometime in the past eight to twelve hours."
He looked up. "Oh, it's you. Well, come in, then. I suppose you're here about Justice."
