I wonder if the librarian thought it was weird that I borrowed 3 classical CDs and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

I wonder if the fact I call RL junk mail "spam" means anything other than I'm online too much.

Were you around in 1977? Because back then there were hit disco versions of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony (A Fifth of Beethoven) and "Flight of the Bumblebee" (which was made for a TV movie about killer bees). We had them in our record collection because my mother was a dance teacher at the time.

We had a cassette of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack that we played to death. I mean, it fell apart in the deck.

I was just researching a series of CDs called "Rock On". It turns out that there were actually two issues of the series and the "new" series has diferent song collections than the first--so I'll have to start over and actually compile my information in order to make better choices.

But it's educational. I didn't know that the lead singer for the band that recorded my favorite song of 1975 ("How Long" by Ace) eventually joined Mike Rutherford as the vocalist in Mike & the Mechanics. I never thought of it. I missed it because I never thought to compare.
