Date: 2005-08-30 11:08 pm (UTC)We had a cassette of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack that we played to death. I mean, it fell apart in the deck.
I was just researching a series of CDs called "Rock On". It turns out that there were actually two issues of the series and the "new" series has diferent song collections than the first--so I'll have to start over and actually compile my information in order to make better choices.
But it's educational. I didn't know that the lead singer for the band that recorded my favorite song of 1975 ("How Long" by Ace) eventually joined Mike Rutherford as the vocalist in Mike & the Mechanics. I never thought of it. I missed it because I never thought to compare.
