It was a mistake to have the Necromancers' Convention and the Mad Scientist's Conventions in the same hotel. Two groups of brilliant, erratic, and insane people in the same hotel? Why not just invite the Bloods and the Crips to a barbecue? Things were tense at first, and just got worse all weekend. There was a lot of name-calling, hastily-published hatchet articles, but nothing major. Turns out they were both marshaling their forces for something big. I'd never have bet on a gigantic dance-off with zombies, skeletons, robots, monsters, though. It was a hell of a show.
