If it sucks, it's because it's written in like fifteen minutes, at 1:50am. Which it probably does. Suck, that is.

Dave rubbed his bleary eyes and peered at the screen. The sweet embrace of bed beckoned, but he spurned it. If he was pressed, he probably would admit he didn't have any good reason. It was habit and the insistent urge, like one drives dogs to dig up bones just to make sure they're still there, that kept him up. The edge of boredom gnawed at his tired soul, staved off by caffeine and rapid clicks. Then a window popped up above the others on the screen, "Dude, it's 5am over there, get your ass in bed." So he did.
