People are selling "I Heart Gitmo" T-Shirts. I kid you not.

I mean, seriously, holy shit. And they have the gall to put lines like this on their site: "Move America Forward is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to preserving our American heritage of freedom and liberty."

These people are STARK RAVING BATSHIT INSANE. It's times like these when I have to doubt that we share common humanity, because these people are glorifying fucking torture and everything that's opposite of what America's supposed to be.

And to think, the first time I saw somebody mention the "I heart Gitmo" shirts, I thought it was a parody joke. That's the thing these days, parody breaks down because you think up something so outrageously stupid nobody'd do it, then you find out it's already been done.

Gitmo is Guantanamo Bay, the prison in Cuba where we send "terrorists" and have been holding many without any kind of trial for years. And torturing and abusing them. Just like we've done/are doing in Abu Ghraib, Bagram, and various other prisons, both army and CIA run, throughout chunks of the world.

And so these people are SUPPORTING TORTURE.
