There's times when I'm not sure if people are kidding or not, and if people even know they're being ironic. This is one of those times. The MARC rail system in Maryland has a new safety sign up. You can see it here since it's too big to post to LJ.

And, just, wow. Did the people who approved this know nothing about Soviet Russia? Was this made to be "retro" by ignorant people, or was it an artist making commentary on his job, and nobody above her noticing? I'm amused.
