May. 25th, 2005 09:12 pmConsidering that none of the "liberal media" bothered to publish it, the text of a memo from the British that explains that Bush planned to invade Iraq and was fixing the intelligence to do so back in 2002. A top secret memo, prepared for British Intelligence. A quote...
"C reported on his recent talks in Washington. There was a perceptible shift in attitude. Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy. The NSC had no patience with the UN route, and no enthusiasm for publishing material on the Iraqi regime's record. There was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath after military action. ..."
This was published in the Times of London, on May 1, 2005. It's May 25, 2005. Ever seen it, anywhere in the US Media? Not that it's exactly "news", since everybody who bothered to look knew this already, but. Y'know, proof, smoking gun, lies, etc...
If a smoking gun's found in the forest, and nobody cares, was it still fired?
