OMGWTFBBQ?!?!?!
May. 12th, 2005 08:27 pmI know I shouldn't get my hopes up. I know I'm just going to get hurt again. But I can't help it.
I almost think Star Wars Episode 3 could be cool.
I watched the first volume of Clone Wars cartoons they did on cartoon Network. They didn't suck. They rocked, hardcore. They were fucking amazing. There was more emotion in the ten second scene between Anakin and Amidala than all of Episode 2. The Jedi ran around being badass Jedi. They didn't suck, like they did in Episode 2. The Clone Troopers and droids seemed cool. The Sith seemed menacing, and Count Dooku was still cool, and still inflicted with a horrible name. And the space battles, and the battle scenes, and OMG, it was awesome. Why couldn't Episode 2 have been like that?
But like I said to James, "The most ominous part of that trailer for Episode 3 were 'written and directed by George Lucas.'"
We also watched A Series of Unfortunate Events, which wasn't really bad, but as much as I usually like Jim Carrey, he didn't really pull off Count Orloff for me. He seemed too goofy, not really menacing enough most of the time.
