forsythSometimes, like today, when I sleep in late it's less because of laziness and more because I'm having a cool dream I want to go back to and keep having.
Today, it was first, a dream where I was hanging out with some of my IRC friends not just on IRC. Then it was a dream about the old game series, Quest for Glory. Only it wasn't any of the games, it just had the same classes and the same feel. So it was a new one. The thing is, I knew it was a game, even in the dream, and I could (and did) save and load, check cheat books, etc. Even though I was sorta in it. The perspective switching was weird. But it was cool, there was some kind of ruined tower that you had to rebuild (I have no idea how, I kept loading before and after, not during), then to finish the game, you had to go in there and... something. But then you ended up somewhere else, infiltrating a bad guy's hideout, sorta like at the end of QFG1. And there were other characters, there was a princess who wasn't utterly useless, there was a young desert cavalry guy, and two other characters I can't remember now, but were cool. I wish I could remember all of it, 'cause it would make a badass game.
